Body Language Expert Adrianne Carter
Adrianne’s work analysing faces has influenced major advertising campaigns, improved customer interactions and helped security personnel assess if a person is deemed suspicious. She may have also sparked a few romances along the way with her dating advice!
We’ve been working together on her personal brand photography for the best part of ten years and I loved our latest session, starting The Hoxton in Holborn, then mooching about the streets around Seven Dials in Covent Garden.
The Brief
Adrianne is consistent in refreshing her images. As one of the UK’s only body language experts she only knows too well how important it is to be visible. She had been working on being her best, glowy healthy self recently and wanted some pictures to reflect her new look.
Her quick reels are full of clever insights on how even the smallest facial movements can shape first impressions – and how to read them in others too. Did you know:
- a little tilt of your head makes you look friendlier
- keep your palms open to appear more trustworthy
- a slight pause before replying makes you appear more confident, as does speaking more slowly
